Devrishi Kashyap Kashyap, a B.Tech Civil (Third Semester) student of Sona Devi University, has brought great pride to his university and the state of Jharkhand through his remarkable achievements.

He participated in the Republic Day Ceremony 2026 at Kartavya Path in New Delhi and also took part in the Prime Minister’s Rally 2026. He was honoured with the opportunity to attend the President’s “At Home” function. Devrishi Kashyap also attended a dinner hosted by the Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, and the “At Home” function organized by the Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi.

He was awarded an Excellence Certificate by Major General A. S. Bajaj, ADG Bihar-Jharkhand. Expressing his happiness, Dev Rishi shared that he received this certificate among 52 selected cadets.

On 18th February, he will participate in a special program at the Raj Bhavan, Jharkhand, organized by the Hon’ble Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar. Additionally, he has been selected for the Youth Exchange Program 2026.

Dev Rishi met the Chancellor, Mr. Prabhakar Singh, at his office and informed him about his achievements. He also expressed his gratitude to the Head of the School of Engineering & Technology for her support.

To recognize and encourage his accomplishments, the Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Braj Mohan Pat Pingua, and the Registrar, Dr. Nit Nayana, honored him with a memento. The Vice-Chancellor praised Dev Rishi’s dedication and stated that he is bringing honor not only to Jharkhand but also to Sona Devi University. He further added that Dev Rishi’s achievements are inspiring other students of the university and that the institution is proud to have a student like him.
