We Are Hiring – Training & Placement Officer

Job Summary

Sona Devi University invites applications from enthusiastic, industry-oriented, and highly motivated professionals for the position of Training & Placement Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing training programs, building strong industry partnerships, coordinating internships and campus placements, and enhancing the employability of students through continuous skill development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate organizations, industries, startups, and recruitment agencies.

• • Organize campus recruitment drives, placement activities, and internship opportunities for students across all disciplines.

• • Design and implement employability enhancement programs, including aptitude training, communication skills, soft skills, personality development, and interview preparation.

• • Coordinate with academic departments to align student training with industry requirements.

• • Conduct career counselling sessions, resume-building workshops, mock interviews, and group discussion training.

• • Invite industry experts for guest lectures, seminars, workshops, and pre-placement talks.

• • Identify and establish strategic collaborations through MoUs with industries and corporate partners.

• • Organize industrial visits, live projects, skill development programs, and certification courses.

• • Maintain placement records, student databases, employer feedback, and placement statistics.

• • Prepare periodic reports on training activities, internship outcomes, and placement performance.

• • Ensure continuous improvement in placement percentages and student employability.

• • Represent the University at industry forums, job fairs, networking events, and corporate meetings.

Eligibility

• • Master’s Degree in Management (MBA/PGDM), Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline from a recognized university.

• • Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills.

• • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

• • Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication platforms.

Experience

• • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Training & Placement, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Career Services, or Industry-Academia Collaboration.

• • Experience in higher education institutions will be preferred.

• • Candidates with an established corporate network and a proven track record of successful campus placements will be given preference.
