Day 6 of Sona Devi University Freshers Week ‘Aagaz 3’ Focused on Technology and Its Future Utility

The sixth day of Sona Devi University’s Freshers Week ‘Aagaz 3’ was dedicated to technology and its usefulness in the future. At the university’s Vivekananda Auditorium, today, Mr. Sahitya Mandal, Assistant Professor from Future Institute of Engineering and Management, provided students with insights on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI). Mr. Mandal explained how cybersecurity techniques can be used to keep our daily lives safe and secure. He further described how artificial intelligence can enhance our efficiency, enabling us to work with fewer errors and at a faster pace. He emphasized that technology should be seen as an aid, not with suspicion. Embracing and adopting technology is the need of the hour and essential for success; it cannot be avoided.

Mr. Priyanshu Kushwaha, CEO of Codestan Technology, also informed the students about the effective use of ChatGPT and artificial intelligence. He explained how AI and ChatGPT are being used to accomplish even the most difficult tasks conveniently and in minimal time. Priyanshu Kushwaha encouraged all students to become techno-friendly.

Earlier, Dr. Nit Nayana, Head of the Placement Cell at Sona Devi University, informed the newly enrolled students about various Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) signed by the university with different organizations. She also shared details about where the university’s students are undertaking internships. Dr. Nit Nayana provided information about the functioning of the Placement Cell as well.

Sonal Kumari, associated with the Examination Department, familiarized the students with the working procedures of the Examination Department.

In the second session of the Freshers Week, an essay competition was organized among the students, and they were shown a motivational film.
