Eye Surgery Camp Successfully Organized in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, January 25:
In the memory of Late Sona Devi, an eye camp was organized by the Sona Devi Memorial Educational Foundation Trust in collaboration with Sona Devi University. During the operation session of the camp, eye specialists Dr. B. B. Singh, Dr. Bharti Sharma, Dr. Poonam Singh, Dr. Vinayak, along with their supporting medical team, successfully performed eye surgeries and lens implantation on 37 patients.

Earlier, the operation session was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon at the operation theatre by Sona Devi University Chancellor Prabhakar Singh, Honorary Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, Vijay Kumar Singh, and social worker Chandramohan Singh. On this occasion, active Red Cross members Rajesh Gupta, Rakesh Mishra, and Aditya Singh were prominently present.

During the operation session, Red Cross volunteers Ashish Kumar, Raju Bind, Ashok Kumar Ghoshal, Ashok Singh, and Pratik Singh played an important role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the program.

On January 26, Republic Day, the patients who underwent surgery will be discharged after being provided with spectacles, medicines, and blankets. On this occasion, Jamshedpur West MLA Shri Saryu Rai will attend the program as the Chief Guest.
