National Unity Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity at Sona Devi University, Ghatshila (Jharkhand), on the occasion of the birth anniversary of India’s Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On this occasion, the university family took a pledge to strengthen the unity, integrity, and national coordination spirit of the country.
Dr. Shiv Chandra Jha, the NSS Coordinator, and Ms. Patatri Mali played a crucial role in the success of the event. Both actively participated in the smooth conduct of the program.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Shiv Chandra Jha said,
“Our country’s greatest strength lies in its unity in diversity. India is home to numerous languages, religions, castes, cultures, traditions, and ideologies, yet the common bond that unites us all is the feeling of Indianness and nationalism.”
He urged the youth to adopt the ideals of Sardar Patel in their lives and remain dedicated to the unity and integrity of the nation.
On this occasion, NSS Coordinator Ms. Patatri Mali administered the National Unity Oath and conveyed the message of unity, goodwill, and brotherhood. The university campus was filled with an atmosphere of excitement, enthusiasm, and patriotism.
