The winners of the essay competition organized by the Department of History of Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, on the occasion of Hul Diwas were awarded certificates today. Vice Chancellor Dr. J.P. Mishra and Registrar Dr. Gulab Singh Azad honored the winners and encouraged them for their achievement.

The winners are: Vipasha Nayak from B.Tech Computer Science Department (First Place), Pragya Kumari from B.Tech CS Department (Second Place), and Khushi (B.Tech CS Department) along with Megha Das from B.Pharm, who jointly secured the Third Place.

Head of the History Department, Dr. Kanchan Sinha, stated that such events not only promote historical awareness among students but also enhance their sense of social responsibility and expressive abilities.

On this occasion, several assistant professors, research scholars, and students were present on the university campus.
