Dipankar Santra, a student of Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, represents in the 9th Netaji Subhas State Games

Dipankar Santra, a second-semester B.Com student of Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, successfully participated in the 9th Netaji Subhas State Games. This sports event was organized by the Bengal Olympic Association in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of West Bengal, from April 7 to April 10 in Malda, West Bengal.

Dipankar, a resident of Golmuri Gadabasa, shared that he has been associated with the Sports Training Center of the Bolpur SAI Center, West Bengal, since 2019. His coach, Harendra Singh, has been honored with the Dronacharya Award and is also the head of the Jharkhand Archery Association.

Dipankar aims to represent Sona Devi University in the Indian University Games this year. He also stated that his next goal is to compete in the National Archery Championship. Through archery, he wishes to bring glory to Jharkhand on national and international platforms.
