On the date 19th April 2025, a Fire Safety Program was organized in the premises of Sona Devi University under the observance of “Fire Service Week” being celebrated across the country from 14th to 20th April with the objective of preventing fire incidents. This program was aimed at reducing fire-related damages in the state of Jharkhand.

The event was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as all the students of the university.
Shri Ramashish Ram, Fire Officer from Ghatshila, along with Shri Dhananjay Rajwar and Shri Sandeep Mukesh Topno, were also present during the program.
