Pali NEW

Study of the Pali language, canonical Buddhist texts, grammar, literature, and the linguistic foundations of Theravāda Buddhism. Candidates examine Pali scriptures, philology, translation, and the historical development of Buddhist literary traditions across South and Southeast Asia.

Buddhist Studies NEW

Study of Buddhist philosophy, texts, history, and cultural influence across traditions. Candidates examine canonical literature, doctrinal development, Buddhist ethics, and the socio-cultural spread of Buddhism across South, Southeast, and East Asia.

Study of Santali language, literature, grammar, folklore, and indigenous cultural traditions. Candidates examine oral narratives, literary texts, linguistic development, and the history and heritage of the Santali community.

Ho

Study of the Ho language, literature, oral traditions, grammar, and tribal culture. Candidates examine linguistic structure, folklore, indigenous knowledge, and the historical and cultural heritage of the Ho community.

Urdu

Study of Urdu language, literature, grammar, and literary traditions. Candidates examine classical and modern poetry, prose, drama, criticism, and the cultural heritage reflected in Urdu literary works.

Nagpuri

Study of Nagpuri language, literature, grammar, folklore, and regional cultural heritage. Candidates examine literary works, oral traditions, linguistic development, and the socio-cultural history of the Nagpuri-speaking region.

Kurukh

Study of the Kurukh language, literature, grammar, folklore, and tribal cultural traditions. Candidates examine linguistic structure, oral literature, indigenous knowledge, and the historical development of the Kurukh-speaking community.

Kudmali
