Prabhakar Singh, Chancellor of Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Jharkhand Education Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu. He described the minister’s death as a major loss to the state’s education system.

Sudivya Kumar Sonu, Minister of Higher and Technical Education and Urban Development in the Jharkhand Government, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Giridih after suffering a heart attack. He was admitted to the hospital late at night after his health deteriorated, where he breathed his last.

The news of the minister’s demise has cast a pall of mourning across Giridih and the entire state of Jharkhand.
