Jamshedpur, October 29, 2026: Dr. Nit Nayana, Registrar of Sona Devi University, participated in the Industry–Academia Conclave 2026, organised by the Research and Consultancy Division of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur, on October 29, 2026. The event provided a platform for discussions on strengthening coordination between industries and academic institutions, promoting research and innovation, and aligning higher education with the evolving needs of the industrial sector.

The primary objective of the conclave was to encourage collaboration among industries, academic institutions, research organisations, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and startups. Key topics discussed during the programme included developing academic curricula in accordance with industry requirements, expanding shared research facilities, fostering technical collaboration to address industrial challenges, and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among young people. The importance of providing startups with proper mentorship, institutional support, and access to financial resources was also emphasised.
