At Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, the Chancellor Mr. Prabhakar Singh today inaugurated the university’s computer lab. Present at the occasion were the Registrar of Sona Devi University, Prof. Dr. Gulab Singh Azad, and the Controller of Examinations, Mr. Mithilesh Singh.

Addressing the students, Chancellor Mr. Prabhakar Singh stated that the computer lab is equipped with modern technology. In the first phase, thirty systems have been installed. Mr. Singh also shared that AI-enabled digital boards will be installed in the university in the future.

These computers are equipped with 12th-generation processors and 16 GB RAM, along with high-quality IPS screens. The current internet speed of 200 Mbps will be further increased. The computers come with graphics cards, allowing users to install and operate software as per their needs.

Chancellor Mr. Prabhakar Singh emphasized that this lab will be especially beneficial for computer science students. Through this lab, students of Sona Devi University will be able to learn technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cyber Security. Better training will help them in securing employment. They will also be able to learn subjects such as coding and machine learning.

On this occasion, he encouraged the students to study diligently, assuring them that the university administration will continue to provide all necessary facilities from time to time.
