A group of students from Sona Devi University, under the leadership of two faculty members, participated in a one-day workshop held in Jamshedpur. Through this workshop, the students enhanced their knowledge and resolved to take initiatives toward environmental conservation and also raise awareness among others about protecting the environment.

Students from B.Sc. Agriculture, the School of Pharmacy, and B.Tech programs of Sona Devi University took part in this workshop. The one-day workshop titled “Green Energy and Green Technology: The Future of Sustainable Development” was organized on March 14, 2026, by D.B.M.S. College of Education in Kadma, Jamshedpur.

The objective of the workshop was to create awareness among students and academicians about the importance of renewable energy, environmentally friendly technologies, and sustainable development. The workshop provided a platform where experts, teachers, and students shared their ideas and experiences on protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices.
