Today, in the auditorium of Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, all faculty members and students participated in a yoga session conducted by a delegation from Dev Sanskriti University. In the second session, yoga instructors highlighted that regular yoga practice enhances concentration, keeps the body healthy, and contributes to better mental health. They also shared insights on alternative therapies and explained which yoga practices help in managing specific ailments. Representatives from Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar – Varuni Kansana, Naincy Chetiwar, and Khushi Kuntal – led the yoga session for the university’s teachers and students. The session included asanas such as Tadasana, Chakrasana, Gyan Mudra Asana, Padmasana, Purvottanasana, Vrikshasana, Anulom-Vilom, and Garudasana, with detailed explanations of their benefits. The program saw active participation from the university’s Registrar, Dr. Gulab Singh Azad, Assistant Registrar, faculty members, and students. Dr. Gulab Singh Azad emphasized that the representatives also provided detailed information on color therapy and techniques to help students stay stress-free during examinations. Additionally, the university’s sports and yoga instructor, Ms. Komal Sinha, advised students to incorporate yoga into their daily routines for overall well-being. सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय में अखिल विश्व गायत्री परिवार देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय के प्रतिनिधियों ने कराया , योगाभ्यास सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय घाटशिला के ऑडिटोरियम में आज सभी फैकल्टी और छात्र-छात्राओं ने योगाभ्यास किया देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय से आये प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने योगाभ्यास कराया। दूसरे , सत्र में , योग प्रशिक्षकों ने बताया कि नियमित योगाभ्यास करने से एकाग्रता बढ़ती है और शरीर भी स्वस्थ रहता है इससे मानसिक स्वास्थ्य का भी अच्छा विकास होता है इन्होंने वैकल्पिक चिकित्सा के बारे में भी बताया और यह भी बताया कि कौन से योगाभ्यास करने से किस बीमारी में लाभ होता है।देव संस्कृति विश्वविद्यालय हरिद्वार से आये प्रतिनिधिय वरूनी कंसाना, नाइंसी चेतीवार एव्ं खुशी कुंटल ने सोमवार को सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय में कॉलेज के शिक्षक- शिक्षिका एव्ं छात्र- छात्राओं को योगाभ्यास कराया जिसमें ताड़ासन, चक्रासन, ज्ञानमुद्रा आसान, पदमासन, पूर्वोंत्तानसान, वृक्षासन, अनुलोम -विलोम, गुरूड़ासन, आदि आसान कराते हुए उससे होने वाले फायदे के बारे में जागरुक किया। इन कार्यक्रम में सोना, देवी विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव डॉ गुलाब सिंह आज़ाद, सहायक कुलसचिव, शिक्षक- शिक्षिका ने भी बढ़ चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव ने बताया कि प्रतिनिधियों ने कलर थेरेपी के साथ- साथ परीक्षा के समय बच्चे तनावमुक्त कैसे रहे उस विषय में भी विस्तृत रूप से जानकरी दी। तथा विश्वविद्यालय की खेल अथवा योगा शिक्षिका सुश्री कोमल सिन्हा ने भी बच्चों के नियमित रूप से योगाभ्यास करने की सलाह दी।

On the occasion of Constitution Day, several programs were organized at Sona Devi University, Ghatsila. To raise awareness among students about the Constitution and constitutional values, activities such as quizzes, essay writing, and poster-making competitions were conducted. During the event held in the university auditorium, Registrar Dr. Gulab Singh Azad led all teachers, administrative staff, and students in taking an oath of the Constitution’s Preamble. Winners of the various competitions were also felicitated during the program. The competitions were held on different days: Quiz Competition: Held on November 23, won by the team of Manav Bera, Shayantan Pol, Himesh Kumar, and Vansh Agarwal.Poster-Making Competition: Conducted on November 24, won by the team of Megha Das, Rani Chatterjee, and Ummul Kher.Essay Writing Competition: Held on November 25, with joint winners Anshu Kumari and Mausami Das.The event was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of Sona Devi University, Dr. J.P. Mishra, Registrar Dr. Gulab Singh Azad, and all faculty members. संविधान दिवस के मौके पर सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय में हुआ कई कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन, ली गई प्रस्तावना कि शपथ सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय घाटशिला में संविधान दिवस के अवसर पर कई कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया । विद्यार्थियों में संविधान और संवैधानिक मूल्यों के प्रति जागरुकता बढ़ाने के लिए , क्विज़, निबंध लेखन और पोस्टर बनाओ प्रतियोगिता का भी आयोजन किया गया ।विश्वविद्यालय के ऑडिटोरियम में आयोजित कार्यक्रमों में आज कुलसचिव डॉ० गुलाब सिंह आज़ाद के नेतृत्व में सभी शिक्षकों और शिक्षकेतर, कर्मचारियों के साथ उपस्थित, विद्यार्थियों को संविधान के प्रस्तावना की शपथ दिलायी गयी । इस मौके पर विभिन्न प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत किया गया। इससे पहले 23 नवम्बर को क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता, 24 नवम्बर को पोस्टर मेकिंग और 25 नवम्बर को निबंध लिखो प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता के मानव बेरा, शायंतन पोल, हिमेश कुमार, और वंश अग्रवाल की टीम विजेता रही । पोस्ट मेकिंग में मेघा दास, रानी चटर्जी और उम्मुल् खेर की टीम विजेता रही और निबंध लेखन में अंशु कुमारी और मौसमी दास को संयुक्त रूप से विजेता घोषित किया गया।इस अवसर पर सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ० जे० पी० मिश्रा , कुलसचिव डॉ० गुलाब सिंह आज़ाद समेत सभी शिक्षक उपस्थित थे।

Today, a pledge-taking ceremony was held in the auditorium of Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, with the goal of raising awareness about voting and increasing voter turnout. Acting Registrar, Mrs. Archana Singh, administered the oath to all faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff. Many enthusiastic students shared that this will be their first time voting. Mrs. Archana Singh informed the students about the alternative identification documents they could use to vote if their names are on the voter list, in addition to their voter ID. Students also expressed their commitment to encouraging their family members to reach polling centers and exercise their voting rights. In addition to the oath-taking, a debate competition was held on the topic “Voting is Essential.” Sixteen students, divided into four groups, participated and shared their thoughts on the importance of elections and voting in a democracy. Participants discussed the significance of making informed voting choices rather than voting without consideration. As everyone knows, voting in the East Singhbhum – Jamshedpur region will take place on November 13. सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय में आयोजित हुआ मतदाता जागरुकता कार्यक्रम -विद्यार्थियों ने मतदान हेतु लिया शपथ सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय, घाटशिला के सभागार में आज विद्यार्थियों को मतदान के प्रति जागरुक करने और मतदान प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से शपथ ग्रहण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया । प्रभारी कुलसचिव श्रीमती अर्चना सिंह ने सभी फैकल्टी, विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकेत्तर कर्मचारियों को शपथ ग्रहण कराया। इस कार्यक्रम से उत्साहित कई छात्र- छात्राओं ने बताया कि वे पहली बार मतदान करेंगे श्रीमती अर्चना सिंह ने छात्र- छात्राओं को बताया कि वोटर लिस्ट में नाम रहने पर वे मतदान पहचान पत्र के अलावे और किन-कि प्रमाणपत्र के सहारे अपने मताधिकार का, प्रयोग कर सकते हैं । इस मौके पर विद्यार्थियों ने कहा कि वे अपने परिजनों को भी मतदान के केन्द्रों तक ले जाने की कोशिश करेंगे ताकि वे अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग कर सके। शपथ ग्रहण के अलावे विद्यार्थियों के बीच “वोट डालना महत्वपूर्ण” विषय डिबेट कराया गया। चार ग्रुप में, सोलह विद्यार्थियों ने इसमें हिस्सा लिया प्रातिभागियों ने चुनाव और वोट करने के प्रति अपने महत्वपूर्ण विचार रखें। लोकतंत्र का महत्व बताया। साथ ही यह विचार भी सामने आया कि कई लोग अज्ञानतावश सिर्फ वोट डालते है जबकि सोच विचार करके ही वोट देना चाहिए। जैसा कि आप सभी जानते हैं कि पूर्वी सिंहभूम – जमशेदपुर क्षेत्र में 13 नोवेम्बर को वोट डाले जाऐंगे।

An oath-taking ceremony was organized today at Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, in observance of Swachhta Pakhwada. The event, held in the university auditorium under the direction of Vice-Chancellor Dr. J.P. Mishra, saw the participation of Acting Registrar Mrs. Archana Singh and Controller of Examinations Mr. Mithilesh Singh along with all the students, who reaffirmed their commitment to cleanliness and avoiding littering. All the faculty members and students present at the event took an oath to devote two hours every week to cleaning their homes, villages, workplaces, and educational institutions, while also encouraging others to maintain cleanliness and refrain from spreading dirt in their communities. Ghatsila, 17th September 2024:The Chancellor of Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, Mr. Prabhakar Singh, had the honor of meeting the Honorable Minister of Water Resources, Higher & Technical Education, Mr. Ramdas Soren, at his residence on Tuesday. During the meeting, Mr. Singh extended his congratulations to the minister on his appointment and inquired about his well-being. Mr. Ramdas Soren, who is also the MLA from Ghatsila, was warmly welcomed by Mr. Singh with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of his new ministerial role. In a cordial conversation, Mr. Singh formally invited the minister to visit Sona Devi University, which is located in Mr. Soren’s own constituency.
